Zoe was in a play for her school and it is now over, so she wanted to go rockhounding. ?Greg and I figured on going down to Silver Lake and doing some digging, but when they arrived to pick me up, he asked if I would rather go to Salmon Creek. ?I dithered back and forth and finally asked Zoe where she wanted to go. ?She didn’t hesitate and picked Salmon Creek. ?We arrived at about 9:30am and unloaded our transportation.

I just pulled out the large juniper bush Joyce wanted moved. ?The day was beautiful. ?I was dreaming of rocks.

What to do? ?I headed out today to the Salmon Creek area to spend some time rejuvenating my mind. ?I live close enough that I didn’t have to leave until 8:30am, which means that I arrived at 10:45am. ?I parked the truck, donned my gear, climbed on the “ole trusty steed” and headed down the road.
