Last Trip?

Chuck and Becky convinced me to take them to Hemlock Creek. ?I didn’t take much convincing because I really like this creek. ?There isn’t much material here, but the scenery is fantastic. ?We started out early and arrived at the parking spot around 9:00am, quickly unloaded our bikes and headed out.

Central Oregon through Dufur!

My feet hurt! ?I had just hiked over 7 miles and ended up with blisters on both feet. ?Lesson learned! ?DO NOT WEAR ONE PAIR OF COTTON SOCKS!!!!

This trip started last month when my friends Chuck and Becky asked me for advice on where to go in Central Oregon. ?It turned out that I was free during the time that they were planning on going, and it didn’t take to much arm twisting to convince me that I should show them the sites in person.

I was planning on leaving Wednesday morning at the same time as Chuck and Becky, but I had heard a rumor that some nice Deschutes type of material could be found between Dufur and Tygh Valley. ?So I changed my plans and decided to head down today and meet up with Chuck and Becky at the Post store on Wednesday.

My first stop was at a road cut.
